This is a simplified method based on the notion of WOM marketing. We are aware that you possibly have a connection of Family members that you stay in touch with every now and then online. If you take the time to check your mail are many personal details of others that is, email addresses and you will also find that you have even some other contact details that you can use along with the email address – according to which free email you have e.g. Gmail, MSN, Yahoo to mention just a few.

Now what I decided to do as some point in the past was to create one of those slides that get forwarded over the netevery where I could. The out put of my work was quite a nice power point show with a beautiful write up about life, siblings and good times. I then highlighted my request at the end. It was about my quest to find or look for my sister. I included the name and a screen name as I remember it and added my email and phone number.

I forwarded this email to an estimated number or rather 200 of my friends and email addresses I had in my inbox. After a couple of days later I got the same email I had sent and it had since been forwarded to hundreds of other emails.

Question is, did Michael (that’s me) find whom I was looking for? well I did and I did not. The idea provided me with a few suggestions that I followed at some point after that and they enabled me to get some rather useful info suggesting the location or rather where exactly I could find of get hold of the person. Don’t forget that this is not the best technique on or to use when you are looking for someone but it is worth it – if you have the time to create a slide show that can get forwarded by others.
